I am a very experienced Trading Standards Officer with over 30 years in the field. Whilst my  expertise spans all aspects of Trading Standards, my speciality is food law.

Alongside my qualification in Trading Standards, I am also qualified in Food Safety enforcement and nutrition. My professional qualifications also extend to teaching, and I regularly teach officers from local authorities and colleges on critical topics including, complex labelling requirements, local authority enforcement options, food safety, HACCP, and nutrition.

My teaching approach is known for being engaging and I always tailor it to my audience. I like to create interactive learning experiences including customised quizzes, break-out sessions, and relevant scenarios that address the specific needs of the learners
